The worst part of this scenario is that we end up forming certain habits that are neither good for you nor your client.

1.   Start without a plan

Whenever you go for an internet marketing, planning is necessary. Make sure you never go with an SEO tactic unless you have made a plan. You must have clear goals and a strategy to know how you will reach there. Without that, all your hardwork will go in vain.

2.   Improper use of keywords

Either using a wrong keyword or stuffing too many keywords can land you in trouble. So make it a habit to do a proper keyword search before you go with the optimization process. With a number of tools available in the market to search the right keywords, you can easily accomplish your task. Once you have the keywords, put them to work.

As an SEO analyst, we are taught to keep personalization to a minimum when working on client’s websites. It helps to know the search engine strength of the site. So instead of helping the website, they end up affecting the rankings the negative way.

10.               Visiting websites daily

Seeing the same website daily will not bring out the mistakes to your eyes. It will not help you to optimize the website. So take your time and come back to the website after a few days and get a fresh look of the things. This way you will be able to get a better picture of the client’s website and know how tactics have worked.
